I got this recipe from my friend Chantelle and thought it was worth trying .

4-5 cups of fresh, clean snow, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 T of vanilla, and 1 cup of milk. Mix to desired consistency.

Prep Time 20 min Serves 8

When it starts to snow, place a large, clean bowl outside to collect the flakes (right about now you can just scoop it out out the back door!)

When full, stir in sugar and vanilla to taste, then stir in just enough milk for the desired consistency. Serve at once

Its pretty self explanatory -raising children and all the challenges us mommies face but in a funny and entertaining way!

Actress Uma Thurman potrays an urban, stay at home mom of two, in this new comedy. Other actors include, Minnie Driver and Anthony Edwards.

Motherhood takes place in New York 's West Village. Being a mommy is full of daunting to-do lists sometimes and Motherhood is full of them, along with chaotic and embarrassing scenes that we all have experienced one time or another with being a mommy.
I would recommend watching this with some of your closet mommy friends that can relate to this movie and be prepared to laugh!

About National Entertainment Media
Launched in 2008, National Entertainment Media is dedicated to delivering compelling , star -powered films to consumers through a variety of distrubution channels. Gilbert was inspired to write children's books when she saw her daughter's face filled with excitement as they read bed time stories together. She has had amazing opportunities to volunteer for organizations such as project R.E.A.D. , which tutors adults who never had the opportunity to learn to read , other organizations such as The Hillman House-a foundation to help children with Cystic Fibrosis and houses their families during treatments. With all these experiences , the common thread is that she is involved with activities that give back! It is her hope that she will inspire someone to be a volunteer in their community and for a parent to spend quality readingtime with their child, for they are the future of our world!

Book retails for $ 9.95
www.iuniverse.com

We decorated it with all handmade ornaments and colored lights and strands of popcorn and fruitloops.

Pictured here are just some easy ornaments that you can put together in a flash using basic ingredients in your home. Reindeer, Pasta spiral tree, Gumdrops star and the marshmallow snowman are just a few of the ornaments I did this year with our girls. We put the dates on the back of each ornament so we can look back years from now and remember when we did these.

If you see an ornament you like and would like step by step instruction, please contact me @ Kristine@CreativeMommying.com
Most of the ornaments are self explanatory though and need no further explanation.

Happy Holidays!

Please send me your creative ideas so I can share your ideas with my friends and followers.

Thank you

When cool, start decorating. We used white icing, glitter, gumdrops, small colorful candies to add. You can use whatever you like or go with the theme colors of your tree.

When all of your decorations are dry add your hangers. I had red velvet ribbon that I cut and used a hole puncher to form a hole in ribbon to hang. Using a hot glue gun, I applied my ribbon to the back of the gingerbread man.Once dry your are now able to hang your adorable handmade ornament on your tree and watch your children's faces light up.....so proud that they contributed to making their tree special .

If you have any ideas you would like to share please send your ideas to Kristine@CreativeMommying.com

Since children will chew on anything in front of them the choice seemed to be not wear any jewelry at all or come up with something safe they can chew on.

4 months later the first prototype was designed for her own two month old and the company was formed!

It's comforting to know that as a Dentist Dr Bloom invented the product for her own child with their safety in mind.
Hair Salon for kids

I recently decided to give this hair salon a try for my girls haircuts. After all I got a coupon for $2.00 off and I thought I would try it since I haven't really found a salon specifically for children in my area.

I was greeted warmly and promptly by the stylists who took my daughter's over to their chair of choice. Each chair is a different ride, a purple jeep ( a big hit with my daughters! ) ,motorcycle, police car and funky leopard print chairs for the mommas who needed a cut or new style. I decided to get my hair cut there while I was waiting for the girls to get theirs and I have to say my stylist was great!

My daughters felt comfortable in the fun chairs and the stylists made them feel at ease while giving them a really good haircut.
They took her time and knew exactly what I was looking for for both of my daughters! Loved the attention to detail we all got there. At the end they offered a little colored fun for their hair and of course pink and yellow was their chosen colors -their fav's!

The best part was that there was toys galore for them to play with, a movie playing, cozy couches to sit on, a stage for the "superstarz " to show off their new "do's " and boutique with fun stuff to buy and take home too!

I would highly recommend this kids salon to any mom wanting a great cut for their child and even themselves too.

They don't have a website but easy to get to and they take walk-ins as well!

I give this salon 2 thumbs up!!

Located @
772 Bethlehem Pike
Montgomeryville , PA
(215) 855-6929
