Frankenmellows

I made these frankenstein treats for my daughters preschool class as their Halloween treat!

Fun, easy and  your kids can help!

Things you need:
marshmellows
green food coloring
chocolate chips
small round candies or cheerios
thin pretzel sticks
popsicle sticks
2 new paintbrushes
styrofoam

Begin by sticking a popsicle stick through bottom of marshmellow so that the marshmellow rests on top forming a head. Using a paintbrush and green food coloring paint entire marshmellow green -a little goes a long way!

In microwave safe bowl ,melt chocolate chips. Dip the top of the marshmellow into the chocolate to create hair. Using the other clean paintbrush, paint hair peaks onto his forehead.

At this point ,stick the the sticks onto a piece of styrofoam to keep head upright. Refridgerate for 2 minutes to harden chocolate.

Next using melted chocolate as glue, stick 2 round candies or cheerios onto head for eyes. Paint on a chocolate mouth.

Break off ends of pretzel sticks to put on each side of Frankie's head for the bolts.

Enjoy !
