This is a funny and easy craft to do with your kiddos!
 
Supplies needed:
Empty applesauce container
play dough ( any color )
2 large Popsicle sticks
2 small buttons
small piece of fabric
markers
construction paper : white circles for the head, brown for the hat
some moss & fake flowers to decorate ( optional )
 
Directions:
1. Take an empty applesauce container fill bottom with play dough
2. Take Popsicle sticks and glue them together to make a T to form body for scarecrow
3. Let dry
4. Drape your small piece of fabric over popsicle sticks once they are dry and glue material to sticks.
5. Let dry
6. Once dry take your 2 circles and glue together and place over fabric .
7. Glue buttons on for eyes on scarecrow on top of circle used for scarecrow's face .
8. Cut out brown piece of construction paper to resemble hat for scarecrow
9. Glue the hat on top of circles
10.Use markers to draw on nose and mouth and place scarecrow in play dough to stand up.
11.Arrange fake flowers( optional ) or add some moss to place on top to hide play dough.
 
You now have a scarecrow that can place on your windowsill for your kids to be proud of!
