Barnyard Birthday Party



If you are looking for a themed birthday party here is one I did for my daughters 1st birthday and its perfect for fall birthdays.
 
We cleaned out our entire garage & transformed it into a barn.

We hung red barn plastic wallpaper and bought barnyard animals at www.Target.com  

We were lucky that my dad has horses and we got the hay bales from him but you can purchase them locally. We used them for seating inside and a maze outside.

We rented a pony for entertainment & had pumpkin painting with washable paints and stickers for all the kids.
 
I labeled food such as chex mix ( horse feed ) , hardboiled eggs ( chicken eggs ) , hot dogs in puff pastry ( pigs in a blanket ) etc.
We had piggy piniata  & hay stack  find -where the kids jumped in a massive pile of hay to search for buried trinkets .
 
Each child took home a favor which was made from a bandanna and got a cowboy or cowgirl hat to wear as well!
 
All the kids and parents had a lot of fun! It is a lot of work but it was well worth it.
Plus our garage was completely cleaned out after the party was over!!
